Development Release Schedule

The Development & Enhancement Request (DEV) list is under review. 
It currently has some 53 items on it, with both major and minor categories of work.

Major enhancements planned include:

Completing the two-way link between FrameSmart and VisualiseIt so that 'visualised' art can be priced automatically, or priced work can be visualised.

Enabling the Elephant button.  This is the ability to access any previously saved job in FrameSmart, and import it into the FS POS pricing screen so it re-prices the job at today's prices.  The user can then edit the job as they wish, and either save it again as a revised original job#, or as a new Invoice for another (or same) customer. 
Completion of this enhancement also opens the door for template jobs to be established for standard jobs (like certificates), and re-used for new work as required.

Since taking over ownership, we have found the code to be extremely difficult to work with, and spent much time tidying it up.

Development progress has been very slow as a result, and most effort has been  put into maintaining the current functionality and providing much needed minor enhancements, hence the 5 maintenance releases in 2011.

We are currently reviewing the whole development schedule, and look to 2012 as a constructive development year.
